Ajay Jadeja’s cricketing career came to an end after being held guilty of match fixing in 2000, but if England Animal Rights activists would have been little cynical, the Indian batsmen could have found himself in legal tangles for taking the lives of two pigeons during one of his knock in the 1999 World Cup.

Chasing a mammoth 282 against Australia, India were reeling at 10/2 when Jadeja came to bat. The right-handed batsman scored a decent century but failed to save his side from being virtually knocked out of the tournament as India lost by 77 runs.
