Tyre-manufacturer,Goodyear,today launched its latest tyre – Assurance Fuel Max – in India with fuel saving technology that provides a four per cent more fuel efficiency and 15 per cent longer mileage than conventional tyre technology.
The new Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max features an advanced full silica compound which reduces the friction between the tyre’s rubber molecules and provides high resistance to abrasion,resulting in reduced fuel consumption and a longer tread life.
Designed for family cars in the mid-and-premium markets,consumers who are looking for value for money and safety can now achieve maximum fuel efficiency and maximum protection with this new tyre.
“In the current environment where rising fuel costs are a huge concern,Fuel Max technology is designed to improve fuel consumption without compromising on mileage or performance,” Goodyear India’s Chairman amp; Managing Director,Rajeev Anand,told reporters here.
“Assurance Fuel Max offers critical safety features such as a strong grip,puncture resistance,blow-out resistance,shorter braking distance and anti-skid,making it the perfect choice for everyday city driving as well as the long distance week-end road trips,” Anand said.
The tyre would be used for Fiat Punto and Linea,Volkswagen Polo,Honda Accord and Toyota Camry,he said.
“India is a good market for us in the Asia-Pacific and we want to tap the opportunity with the launch of new products in the coming days,” he said.
